My personal top 3 are…
1. MM Lee at Young PAP Forum (link)
“You want to quarrel about $20 million over a $4 trillion economy? I say, rubbish! Let’s say the PAP crashes tomorrow, right? One boatload sinks, 3,000 people dead, you have an election. You’re going to reproduce this government? No!”
My personal belief is, reproducibility can be achieved easily by anyone following a fixed set of well documented methodology. We don’t need special people. Anyhow, I’ll keep this quote for my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for checking.
2. MP Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan on the issue of public assistance (link)
“How much do you want? Do you want three meals in a hawker centre, food court or restaurant?”
These guys will never understand why peasants like us hate them. You know Vivian should convince the public by donating his 1 month salary and just keeping $260 for himself. Then document (or blog) and show the world that 5 bucks a day for food is sufficient! Then again, 1 month might be too harsh for him, lets go for 1 week.
3. PM Lee at National Day Rally 2007 (link)

Why do I get the “expect anything possible from us – fare hikes, gst increase, more erps, forced anuity, get your cpf money back later, etc etc …” feeling? Seriously, is it just me or what? Geesed.
Check blueheeler’s blog too, he talks about PM Lee’s quote on environmental concerns.
