Connect to Sg via Mobtv

After doing much cost and profits analysis, I decided to subscribed to mobtv international…

With mobtv, I could stay entertained at home all nights and all weekend. Moreover, I get to connect myself to Sg news and stuff.

Stove

My stove was like totally black after just 1 month of use.

Our philly stove was CLEAN like NEW even AFTER 1 year of use and by 4 people somemore! Can totally imagine how much hard work PL put into cleaning E611 the last time.

Supermercato

Its really scary how I buy my groceries – I got a huge shock when the lady at the counter told me its 40 over euros!

I was just buying stuff for ONLY a week (or maybe even less)! Geezers…

Design School

Visited Em’s potential design school (NABA - Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti Milano) on Thursday, quite a nice and comfy place I feel.

Seriously, the only way to be successful in science is through serendipity…

Sometimes I think the odds is like striking the River Hong Bao 10 Million Toto (sole winner I mean)

If I really have that kind of luck, I would prefer the latter.

Take away point is, meanwhile just work, get by, and hope for the best. Life is tough…

Mosquitoes are killing

Was blog surfing and read from Bjorn and Estee dude blog that their friend died from dengue.

Quite geesed up actually cos 2 months before I leave Sg there was like massive dengue and 1.5 months after I left Sg there is STILL people suffering (and dying) from dengue.

Seriously, people should CHECK for stagnant water and CHANGE them, EVERYDAY (half a day to be more ks). There have been more than advertisments/campiagns. Save yourself (and others!)…

Happy Hour in Milan

My labmate brought me out for dinner together with her friends at this place called Naviglio. This place is totally like Boat/Clark Quay in Sg (look at the pictures!). The whole stretch is filled with pubs, bars, and coffee places.

Anyhow, happy hour (called aperitivo in Italian) is very popular in Milan. The interesting thing about aperitivo in Milan is that you pay anything from 7 to 10 euros for a glass of cocktail (like magaritas) and then you get to eat all you can on the finger food (like cheese, potatoes, ham, pasta, rice, salads, fruits, and many more!) they have! Alot of people like to do aperitivo here in Milan because of this!

The whole week temperature was like 35 celsius. This is further compounded by the fact that I do not have a pinguino (italian lingo for aircon)!

Totally can’t sleep at all.

Singapore Blogsphere?

I usually don’t read XX blog cos its totally OOP.

Anyhow, I read from MC blog that she had a great post that feature SL and so I decided to take a look.  It was like totally funny when I saw SL backlash on her “Top 7 worst blogger” post! You guys should check that video out man! Seriously, the blog fight between them is funny but in a really lowly sense. XX and SL should really get a life.

It was quoted somewhere in youtube, totally true - “A childish, intellectually-challenged wannabe vs an ugly midget with a big mouth who thinks very highly of herself. I think it’s a great match. You two should mate. Losers deserve losers”

The only blogger in Singapore that makes GREAT and INTELLIGENT JOKES is mrbrown. He is really the most creative and intelligent blogger in Singapore I feel, no one can beat him man.
