You see widgets everywhere!!! WordPress, flickr, zoto, yahoo, windows live and google!!!
I particularly like igoogle that have lots of cool and interesting widgets. You can drag, drop, and arrange your own homepage. Now, my google homepage is like a windows desktop/taskbar. No more loading of useful applications e.g. weather icon, postit notes, time display, and countdown timer that will slow your windows OS like hell.
Think, sooner or later, one day google will come out with a fast, effective, lag-free, and easy to use google OS!

… is such a pain in Sg! There are so many restrictions on this and that. I just wanted to buy some meds for my bro and em for their gastric problems and they only can sell me 14 tabs of famotidine! I also bought a few other meds and the total cost is quite ex despite being generics! Then I thought I could go sgh, visit tt and get another 14 tabs of famotidine and they actually tell me I need a prescription for that! How crappy!
Sometimes, and only sometimes, I wish we are like Mala. Can buy meds cheaply, easily, and more importantly freely. Jz recently helped me buy a tube of 15g diprosalic for jus slightly above 30 ringgits! Compare this to Sg where I have to 1) first que, 2) see a doc, 3) talk a while, 4) let him/her look, 5) que again, 6) collect med, and finally 7) pay 4 bucks for 0.5g or less of the med! Geesed!
Anyhow, lucikly I saw clw at nuh and she offered to give me her staff 20% discount on my meds! She’s such a nice fren! Also since at nuh, I wanted to return fa’s 10 bucks and he was on leave today! Sucks. Also, ll happen to have lunch at frontier too. Talk a while and found out that ll and hy are both not going to the States liao. So now ll is considering to do graduate studies which is quite good as I think she totally can be a good professor.

Ray jio watch Pirates of the Carribean together with Jialing, Joanne, Candy, and Guoping. Very nice show but this time like not so much action from Captain Jack Sparrow.
I heard that Americans love to watch credits. So totally not for Singaporeans I believe, at least for me.
Anyhow, so Guoping said he read from the forums that should stay back after the credits for additional scenes. 11 mins of meaningless words flowing for 1 min of scene showing Swan gave birth to a kid and Turner returning after 10 years. AFAIAM, totally not worth it!

During the ST-OCBC Business Insights Seminar, Atlas had a demo room for their sound system products, particularly those from Bose. I must say I am truly impressed by the sound system. With just 2 small speakers (like those normal portable usb powered speakers) and a woofer, the sound system can generate this virtual surround sound effect! They played the F4 trailers and it is as though you are sitting in the cinema watching! Watching dvd movies with this sound system coupled with a 52inch LCD TV would rock! Hear to believe, I say.
For sure I am getting this type of sound system when I have my own home! Em not going to like this, she hates it when I play loud/rock musics like linkin park and terriyaki boys, hah.

Thanks to NOC and NUS ETP, I got a free complimentary pass to the Straits Times OCBC Bank Business Insights Entrepreneurship Seminar 2007 at NUS UCC. I was there with Lionel and Gean! It was a great event with many great speakers from organisations like Atlas Sound, Breadtalk, Wang Cafe, Hp, Apple Epicentre, etc.
Anyhow, the take away point I got from the series of presentations is - successful business growth depends on PEOPLE, TIMING, and PRODUCT.
Another thing that I realised is that all of these sucessful entrepreneurs have something in common - their relentless motivation and drive for the business is not for the CASH per se but rather because of their COURSE OF LIFE e.g. the passion, and to help others/less fortunate ones.
Sad to say, I think I am still not there yet and perhaps far from it. I am still looking for my life goal.

The last time we met was like in 2005. Had a great time chatting with fa, viclance, and jz. Talk about work, games, gossips, and things like:
- Mbs dog is still alive at 14 years old!
- Fa dun like dogs anymore, so the 30 year old-give-a-dog deal is off
- Fa say he is getting married end of this year. If true, I promised to give him 500 bucks hongbao or a fridge, whichever is less.
- Fa say he will give me a fridge if I get married before him, but the fridge will have to named after him.
Lastly, wanna thank jz for helping me buy POM stuff in msia!

This fonera share-your-wifi thing have been going around for quite some time. Just bought one recently for 15 bucks to test it out. Its super small in size and portable but only screw up thing is it have no lan ports. So now wherever I go around the world I get free wifi, for Fon-AP that is.
